Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Been there and still doing that... particularly the part where each wonderful trip or achievement is preluded by a panic attack. The hardest part of this whole reality is that outsiders even friends see you traveling and doing all these exciting and even daring things and cannot accept that you suffer from anything let alone depression. Thank you again.

Thanks, Adam, for sharing. It's a very honest account and is appreciated. Whilst I don't suffer from anxiety, I do suffer from loneliness at times and this is suffused with guilt ie: I am in a beautiful location, paid to research it and a lot of people would kill to be in this situation, so why am I not necessarily enjoying myself?

For me, having pets at home help enormously. They say pets are good for mental health, and I have to agree.

Thank you, Adam, for this piece. Very brave, and so helpful. Whilst I don't suffer from anxiety, it makes me understand those who suffer better, and hopefully be more helpful to them. Keep travelling, keep writing!

What a great piece. Thank you for being brave enough to share your experiences and all the great advice. Love journaling and being in nature as an antidote to low mood, too.
