The end of March is like freelance Christmas for me. It’s that time of year when I look at my bank account, examine my earnings and tot up my outgoings from the past 12 months in order to roughly figure out how much tax I’m likely to owe for the year. When my profits come in over the UK’s higher-rate tax bracket, there’s only one thing for it: a shopping spree!
Regardless of where your earnings sit, though, if you’ve got spare cash and want to make the most of it, now’s the time to invest a little — the more you spend on your business now, the less tax you’ll pay on your earnings from this financial year.
That’s why we’re running our first ever bumper sale! We’ve got discounts on everything, from newsletter subscriptions to our online course and the downloadable resources on our Teachable travel writing school. If there’s anything below that takes your fancy, it’s worth noting it’s an allowable business expense, which means you can use this purchase to offset your profits and lower your tax liability.
Discounts are only available until 31 March 2025, so get spending! Happy nearly-new-financial-year!
