Earlier this year we announced our first ever TTW Retreat — a two-day event with workshops, press trip activities and working lunches for aspiring and early-career travel writers.

One of our 16 attendees has had to drop out, so there’s a rare chance to get in on the first event of its kind for travel writers in the UK now! The ticket price is £350 and includes bed, breakfast, lunches and several activities and workshops. Interested?

Here’s more detail on the event

We’ve lined up a two-day, one-night travel writing kickstart course for students, aspiring and early-career travel writers who want to get their work published in top publications. This workshop-come-press trip will be held in the lovely town of Cheltenham, and address industry misconceptions, explore pitching strategies, offer writing tips and see you putting your new-found skills to the test.

Who’s it for?

Students, aspiring and early-career travel journalists. This means you’re at either the very beginning of your career or might have a few great commissions under your belt, but want to level up, better understand the industry and get trips from pro travel writers.

How much does it cost?

The charge for the two-day retreat is £350. It is entirely non-refundable and must be paid in full before 31 August 2023.
