Free annual subscriptions up for grabs

We've got 20 annual subscriptions for writers from diverse or underrepresented backgrounds

We know it’s not always affordable for everybody to subscribe to this newsletter —particularly right now as the cost of living crisis bites even deeper. We don’t want people to miss out, however, which is why we’re giving away 20 free annual subscriptions to travel writers from diverse backgrounds — including those underrepresented in the travel media — who would otherwise be unable to afford the cost of a paid annual subscription. 

The 20 people to receive the free subscriptions will be selected at random and all you need to do is input your email address into this form. Unfortunately, as we expect the number of applications to exceed the subscriptions available, not everyone who applies will be successful.

Wondering if you’re eligible? The term "diverse and underrepresented backgrounds" could mean but is not limited to the following: 

• People of colour or from minoritised ethnic backgrounds

• People from lower socioeconomic backgrounds 

• People within the LGBTQIA+ community 

• Those living with disability or long-term illness 

Applications close on Monday, October 2nd and subscriptions will start on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023 and run for one calendar year. This will be an annual giveaway, so if you aren't successful, we strongly encourage you to apply next year.
