BREAKING NEWS: We’re running our first ever in-person event! On Thursday January 12th we are partnering with the Spanish Tourist Office to bring you an evening of productive networking in central London.
We write a lot about the virtues of networking, but not everyone loves it as much as we do — and not all of us are entirely confident walking into a room full of strangers and striking up conversation. That's why we've designed an event to help you get more out of networking with your peers. We'll get together over wine and tapas, thanks to the Spanish Tourist Office, and discuss all-things travel writing, from our latest commissions to how we come up with new ideas.
The event will be loosely structured, with new discussion topics given every 15 minutes and a "speed networking" format where you'll move on to meet new people with each new conversation.
We'll be raffling off a lifetime subscription for Talking Travel Writing at the end of the night, and there'll be an exclusive announcement from the Spanish Tourist Office to kick off the event!
