As much as I was initially reluctant to embrace generative AI, I’ve realised that, like at the birth of all inventions that have sent technological shockwaves around the globe, I don’t really have much choice. It might put me out of a job — but there’s a strong possibility that I will become obsolete if I don’t use it.

If you’ve ever used transcription tools like Otter or Grammarly, or allowed Gmail to finish a sentence in an email, then generative AI has already snuck into your workflow. ChatGPT might have become synonymous with AI, but this Large Language Model (LLM) is far from the only chatbot available and each has its own strengths. For example, if you’re seeking something to analyse data, ChatGPT will probably do a better job. For creative tasks, I’ve found Claude vastly superior.
